Indulge in the captivating story of Buzzie, a spirited young Indian girl who embarks on a thrilling adventure in Gaspésie, Quebec. Buzzie is on a quest to retrieve a kite meticulously crafted by her father, Papounet, and intended for a wealthy collector. With her father’s reputation at stake, Buzzie sets out to retrace the lost kite’s path, unwittingly plunging into a treacherous and unfamiliar world.
Through a unique collaboration with the CSAI (Centre social d’aide aux immigrants), Buzzie and kite serves as a transcendent tale of cross-cultural migration that seamlessly blends the oriental and the occidental worlds. But beyond that, it is a heartfelt invitation to rediscover long-forgotten memories, poetry, and the common roots that bind us all.
